This meditation continues in the vein of insight-oriented contemplation. The consideration -spontaneously so- is time.
What is time? “Time is a modification of the mind,” says Patanjali. The Tao te Ching suggests that time is a mistaken correlation of self to doing. Buddha Shakyamuni states variously that time is to be understood in the same way as all other experienced phenomena: as a mirage, an illusion, a bubble, a dew drop, a magician’s creation.
None of this is said in this session. Rather, we are led to considerations regarding time that possibly open paths of insight for each person individually.
May you have insight and produce transformation.
