Meditation: awaken 5, breathing wholeness

Breath and breathing are the timeless core of meditation practice across the world and history. No doubt, there are numerous reasons why, both metaphysical and physical. In this session, we begin with the physical which is ever nondual with the metaphysical. (visa versa also, of course!)

Three primary sources for the fullness of meditation practice are Buddha, the Tao te Ching, and Patanjali. With the Buddha, breath and awareness of the breath is a specific mindfulness. With the initial instructions, he states, “The Full Awareness of Breathing, if developed and practiced continuously according to these instructions, will be rewarding and of great benefit.”
