Meditation: buddhi 8 – deep, fathomless

The human creative imagination is used by all ages of human beings for creative and expressive purposes. It is used for learning, for imagining possibilities so as to bring them into manifestation. The creative imagination is also what conjures negative imaginings that are part of worry, anxiety, and projections of all kinds including those of bias and prejudice. Creative imagination is used in meditation practices as well.

Medical science now knows that the mind-body systems respond equally to that which imagined as that which is happening in outer reality. This fact is used to a practitioner’s benefit in meditation training, including generation stage practices.
