One of the most important things happening on the planet astrologically now is a series of dynamic aspects between the 2 major planets of change and transformation – Uranus and Pluto. They are making a series of 7 exact squares from June 2012 through March 2015 and will be continually exerting their influence for the whole duration.

These 2 planets were conjunct and enhancing each other’s influence of change,
lightening-like ( Uranus) and earthquake-like (Pluto), during the 60’s. We now have a replay at a higher turn of the spiral with the challenging dynamic of the square in 2 cardinal signs – Aries and Capricorn. The energies of these signs are slowly but surely up-ending and transforming the traditional systems and structures – political, economic, philosophical, and physical ( out there and in our bodies). This is how we will get from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age. The old has to transform, transmute and re-form into the emerging new.

In addition, it is my understanding that – as there are 7 exact square aspects – each of these will affect a chakra of humanity and individuals in order to disrupt, reveal and remake the energies and frequency of consciousness of each chakra.

The first chakra was affected last June as we all sensed the cosmic and planetary changes that were inevitably unfolding. The awareness for many was that its time to join the tide of change. Corporations, dictators, and person habits that did not have dug in for survival and are putting up a costly fight.

The second chakra was opened and cleared in November with much anxiety over finances, sexuality, emotional activation, and the sense of security – we had to release, renew, and embrace the changes. At the end of the year, veils began being stripped away.

We currently are in the orb of the next exact square on 5/20 and are experiencing the clearing of the 3rd chakra of personal will, emotional/thoughtform patterns, power, control, and self-identity. The structures of identity from the past are crumbling to reveal more of our authentic nature which may at first feel a bit raw and vulnerable and without a goal or personal path. These usually came from personal identity, its past ideas and beliefs. These are being replaced and the hanged man of the Tarot deck gives the image of the feeling many are passing through.

Here are the dates of the next squares: 11/1/13, 4/21/14, 12/14/14, 3/16/15. I am watching to see how they actually reflect and affect the chakras. I expect the November event to open the heart center more to compassion but also to the grief and longing that many hold in their hearts and which needs to be cleared.

For now, it is important to stay present to innocence, uniqueness, and vulnerability as it emerges from the solar plexus in transformation. Silence, nature, contemplation, and meditation will help; as will art and modes of expression. Each of these openings is preparatory to the next. But there is no rushing onward from solar plexus to heart or from base to any other. Processes within the psyche related to each of the chakras are plucked again with each exact square. Be informed with global news. Be aware of your personal reactions. Be mindful of the changes that are happening in the world while mirroring in you.
