Meditation: breathing

We complete this year with a simple meditation: breathing.

Settling the form, the mind, emotions, the colon, the joints and so forth is the beginning. Doing so provides awareness as to how tight and restless we often (maybe usually) are while, at the same time, also encouraging the physical, etheric, and subtle dimensions of form to relax. One’s aura loosens, clear, and expands as well as cortisol levels drop and more beneficial endorphins flow.

In time, we focus on breathing.

No matter how long someone has been practicing meditation, shamatha processes are never old. When, gratitude and appreciation for being alive due to Mother Earth, being completely dependent upon her for each moment of life, are added as contemplation, ahhh.

Happy New Year, everyone!
