Meditation: Mother of the World, radiance of the heart

The Winter Solstice is coming. It has been a celebration of all cultures of the world since the dawn of time. It has always been marked by human beings making light. Candles and candle crowns, yule log fires and bon fires, white gowns or robes, and stories of the light-bringers, the one’s who vanquished darkness and brought gifts of wellness, hope, joy and well-being.

No matter who you are, no matter where you are, You are the light of the world. You are the embodiment of you your highest and best qualities, even if they have not been fully discovered by you. You, through the radiance of the illumined heart, can change this world. That can be accomplished by you and me and all those committed to wisdom and goodness live from the heart of wisdom.

This preciousness beyond price, this jewel so accessible, this wholeness of Being, is more powerful than the sun. If we believe that, we can live from that. And, that’s what the Winter Solstice is all about.
