Meditation: your Presence in the world

No matter what one is concerned about in this world or in one’s personal life or sphere, the ability to bring one’s self to Presence or centeredness or ground is invaluable. For the world, during the time frame that someone is Present or centered that person is living harmlessly, speaking from thoughtfulness and empathy, and is making choices that consider the benefit of the whole and its parts. For one’s self, while one is grounded in the goodness of Being, one feels well from the inside, one’s thoughts and emotions are within  unifying wholeness. Essentially, one is not beside oneself.

As such, your practice on and off the cushion matters: to the world, to those in your life, and to yourself. I bow to everyone in the world who brings the skill of Presence/centeredness to as many moments as possible. Thank you!
