Meditation: gratitude and Presence

Presence is an enriched state of mind and emotions. When you are in presence, what collection of emotions, state(s) of mind, and character are within your experience?

When I’m present, gratitude arises, I feel content, my mind is clear or clears, and a lightness of being plus a bright spacious quality suffuses my mind. Within each of these is another collection of sub-qualities and because I am present they can be brought to the foreground of awareness. I can notice more of the usually not noticed.

How about you? What is your experience of presence? What is within your experience of presence? And, what is your experience when you are not present, not in presence?

This is another way to have Awareness in its seat.
