Meditation: the teacher and the teaching of the moment

For most of this year, this online practice has focused on the senses and being ever-more present to the consciousness that is expressing and displaying any given instant.

With recognition of present awareness through the interactive mechanisms of the senses, we start to understand more truly how each moment of our life is a concoction of responses to the senses and sensation. The self is recharged and reinstated by these interactive mechanisms. If one is more conscious of what is going on, great Awareness lies in any nanosecond. If one is robotically controlled by the ricocheting of subject-object, of dualistic mind being the only presence one lives from, one will ping pong with no respite through every day of life and not even know one is ping ponging.

Fundamentally, the choice is Presence or samsara – going around the same goings around.

May all beings awaken is my prayer which is why we are getting more familiar with our common inner workings.
