Today’s meditation completes the cycle of the last couple of months focused on the five senses, the mind, and consciousness. Any of these seven could provide years of exploration, discovery, and liberation and have over the centuries since Buddha highlighted mindfulness. I try to maintain awareness of them in action throughout the day and have profited greatly.
We will take a week off from the online morning meditation. Practitioners are encouraged to hold a sense, or the habituated mind, or overall consciousness within one’s attention for a day each day of the week.
