Our online meditations are on hold this week while I’m with my in-law family celebrating the life of my mother-in-law, Rose. She passed peacefully in her sleep two months ago. She was 90 years old.

Rose was a special person, warm-hearted and present with everyone. The humble center of a big family, she also had more friends than anyone I knew. Rose loved to create home-made cards which she did for probably over 50 people annually, and was ready to cook her chicken soup or meatballs for anyone coming to visit.

Rose was a nurse by profession, a mentor, companion, devout in her faith, and devoted to her husband (he to her as well). It was an honor to know her for more than 45 years.

She is remembered with great love and admiration.
