There’s a curious thing about being human: we know that we are deluded but choose it anyway. In a meditation practice, duality – which is the scaffold of delusion – is used to advance one’s practice. Two things result: meditation refines and delusion dissipates.
Good things take time, of course. But, the more one understands how to use duality as the fulcrum to awareness, the less hoodwinked one will be. Ultimately, this tool also has to be jettisoned. But, when one is ready for that, it will already have occurred.
