Meditation: prajna union

Human beings have the capacity to enter the terrain of our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and states of consciousness. We do not know if animals can be self-reflective or if plants are, but we are.

Doing so, a human being has the opportunity to experience union with the emotion (or other subjective process). Union requires the personal defenses down. Then one can enter one’s self, one’s upsetness, anger, fear, or doubt. If we do not enter, the emotion or non-analyzed belief, etc. will rule the moment, the action, the choices made, and thereby rule the others within our sphere. But through entering, softening and opening into the rawness and intensity, one has the opportunity for union within one’s self, like the bee has with the flower.
