Meditation: Inexhaustible Lamp

One candle or butter lamp can light thousands and its flame is not diminished. This is a demonstration of generosity.

The paramita of dhana (generosity) expressed by a lit candle, indeed, is perfect. The candle, butter or oil lamp has no agenda other than to share its light. It does so by radiating, illumining, giving off its glow, as well as lighting as many other warming or  illumining things as it can with a little help from a human being. Human giving can be the same.

Our meditation and contemplation is called the Inexhaustible Lamp.
