Changing one’s perceptions transfigures one’s reality. How is this accomplished? Incrementally, like filling a jug with water; but at some point the jug is full and overflows. Same with us. Little by little,
- beginning with noticing the usually not noticed,
- and softening and opening into an emotion or situation or moment of relatedness,
- or dropping into the inner repetitions of thoughts, and so forth
one’s sense of reality changes. It does so because what was not previously noticed or more truly experienced, is now. Perception has been expanded. With this not only is one’s personal reality slowly transformed but the sense of self, kept busy and fed through emotions, particularity of perception, and repeated thoughtforms, is slowly transfigured. Ahh.
