Put your hand on your heart and synchronize with all of life on Earth.

Put your hand on your heart and synchronize with all of life on Earth.

Round. The center of flowers. Eyes. Ripples in a pond.
We muse on “round” and then touch our hearts. The hand isn’t round. The heart isn’t either; but the field that immediately is experienced is most definitely round and inclusive.
What is happiness?
When asking one’s self, “what makes me happy?”, what are we seeking? What is the set or range of emotions and state of being we want or are looking for?
Our meditation begins with an exploration, as we frequently do. Then a state settles in. Is it happiness? Does it include qualities of happiness? What is happiness?
The synopsis at the beginning focuses on the three, “mind, no mind, mind is luminous,” at play in our play with happy and happiness.
To inquire “what makes me happy?” is utilizing the common mind. Yet, what we find over and over when we pause, or take a breath or pause to inquire, is that the something that we were investigating is not actually what we thought. (more explanation on the podcast), thus is “no mind”. And, if the inquiry is continued, which is to soften and open into the space or pause, then clarity ensues. Maybe a giggle too, or peace, or let be, or letting go, all accompanied by a brightness and lightness of being (mind is luminous).
The intention behind it all is always Awareness. (big smile!)
