We have used the term mandala many times in our meditations. One of the ideas behind this term is that there are various things going on simultaneously together with a variety of qualities or characteristics, or characters for that matter. This meditation introduces the word pixel and we are encouraged to let the experience of Presence pixelate.
Why? Our realities are by-products of myriad component parts including memory, patterns in consciousness, social norms and expectations, plus all the internal processes of a person. Some are quite subtle; some quite unconscious. Some are vivid and lucid; other components, or pixels of an experience, blended so fully with the wholeness of the joy or worry or upsetness or delight, as to not be recognized. Meditation is a path of recognition.
