Perfect 2: flawless

Perfect; definition: flawless

I take refuge in the flawlessness of the Path. Not is some give in, give up, “Uncle” kind of way but in the understanding of how flawless the human experience is. I bow to its supreme wisdom, its always precision, its compassionate embrace.

All beings are my being, we are shared oneness. Therefore, there is no other to blame, misunderstand, want anything from, or to hold in any way separate. All beings are my being.

Shared oneness is the result, the Way, the only possible option in any situation. It is the encouragement to open one’s heart, to open one’s eyes to the inner eye, and to delight in one’s sensibilities. We feel, thus may we feel deeply. We can see the world around us, thus may we act with wide view. We are compassion incarnate, thus may we live as such. Shared oneness is the echo of the song of incarnation calling to the zombie presence that we call our self.

I take refuge in the kindness shown and given to me because that is kindness given to those who have given. They have given it to themselves by giving to me, as I have given to myself with every giving to them. We are shared oneness.

This is the Path, flawless, perfect in every way. There are no exceptions. The Path does not sometimes give us what we have earned and other times not. It always does. If we have earned the necessity to learn generosity, then life will offer that opportunity through perceived poverty or through taken-for-granted abundance. If we have earned the need to experience the sorrow that most of the world lives, then we will, and that will be a good thing, diamond perfect. If we have set the wheel of virtue in motion, then the wheel rolls on, and the groove that we follow is that of virtue. It will be given ample opportunity.

There is no one to blame, and if there is shame that is a simple error of perception. Perceiving self and other, we will see incorrectly. Therefore it is unwanted to perceive the perfection of each moment as the only moment possible in our now. Shared oneness, as hand is part of body, makes clear our shared now.

I take refuge in the flawless, unmistaken, always perfect law, and smile.

My writings and poems support this view that as science progresses it appears to get more and more mystical in its findings, particularly at the sub atomic levels - The findings of Quantum Physics for instance are not very different from the findings of mystical seers and thinkers of yore about the nature of reality- a revolution in thought bringing to gether science and spirit appears to have gathered momentum in the 20th and now the 21st centuries. Most of my life I have been intrigued by the concept of the Soul. Every faith speaks of it, many scholars have written about it, both in the past and in what is called New Age literature. In common parlance too we refer to Soul so often. Yet it is the most ambiguous of concepts to truly comprehend. My curiosity led me to research what the different scriptures say about it – all refer to it. Later I sought to understand its metaphysical significance and reality and even experience its presence mystically through meditation, poetry, music and literature. My primary blog entitled SEARCH FOR THE SOUL therefore tries to share whatever I have gleaned from diverse sources on the subject and to invite feed back which could help to enlighten me further on the subject. My second blog however presents only my poems on mystical insights and experiences, nature and animal behavior, human relationships, heritage and culture, peoples lands and travel, faith, the cosmos, God and revered Hindu deities and introspection. I regard my poems as thought forms having an organic reality of their own. they arise from a lifetime of mystical introspection, the experience of living or my interface with nature and find expression through the rhythms of the mind. At times, it is the rhythm that initiates the grasping of a thought. At others, it is the thought, grown pregnant, that arouses a rhythm and sometimes they come together. I hope they will strike a sympathetic chord in the reader and recreate in his mind the same complex experience which spurred their creation.

      Yes, the mirror of wisdom is always right in front of us. Therefore, there is no enemy. The person or situation before us is our self. Krishna went to great lengths to explain that to Arjuna. America and the world right now are staring at Syria and don’t see themselves, thus once again and more than likely, the truly wise action will not happen. Because the truly wise would require a change in the world.
