Any given experience includes myriad additional experiences with it. Within meditation, a few have repeatedly been mentioned, such as clarity, tranquility, peacefulness, spaciousness. But, maybe for you, none of these is your experience but others are.
In general, our inner and outer experiences follow established habits of consciousness; those set in this life and in past lives. For example, my dad loved small-craft boating; but it wasn’t my thing. One person might love gardening, another not. Meditation opens the gateways within each experience. There is so much going on.
