It has been purposeful this week and last that the phrase, “now meditate,” has not been said during the instruction because the personality hears that and exerts. There’s a time for that personal exertion, but not this week after the initial settling and noticing. The preliminary seconds or minute automatically bring forward refined or subtle experiences. Learning to let the experience BE while abiding as the alert awareness that is your fundamental state of Being is to rest as the heart whether one knows that or not. My attempt during this week’s experiment in meditation simplification has been this.
