Meditation: innate presence and contentment

So many times when we sit for meditation – within group, with an app, by ourself; for three minutes, five minutes, half an hour, or more – something beautiful happens. Presence.

For most people, Presence is experienced in the immediate first seconds of the sitting. Maybe it lasts, maybe not; but that’s the nature of meditation practice: taming and training, learning to detach from expectations and discovering the innate contentment that is within.
